Our final project for the 2021/22 academic year was at the Alieu Badera senior school where we converted a run down classroom into a library. Starting in March 2022, it involved replacing the roof, removing block windows & putting in glass ones, taking down connecting doors & blocking doorways. Finally tiling the floor & supplying shelving and books. Thanks must once again go to all our supporters, without their donations this kind of project wouldn’t be possible.
The conversion was completed by mid April 2022 and after a low key opening ceremony is now fully functioning and helping with the pupil's education. Many thanks to all the guys on the ground in The Gambia and our supporters in the UK - we couldn't do it without you!
