We were thrilled to be chosen as one of the charities to benefit from Otley Lord Mayor’s charity appeal for 2017-2018. The very generous donation from Mayor Nigel Francis and his team enabled us to build a library for the 2119 pupils at Kunkujang Lower Basic School. The build was completed in April 2019 and the library is now well stocked, fully operational and extremely well used by the pupils and very much appreciated by the staff and local community. One of our supporters in The Gambia, Mrs Dinding Sidibeh commented "This is a very big and beautiful library it came at the right time, so that we can bring back the reading culture to our children. Thank you Gambia Schools Trust for the effort with your donors".
