As the school roll continues to grow at Loumen, in early December 2022 we started work on building an additional new classroom. Kebba, Alpha and the team set about the hard graft of digging the foundations and making the blocks and after just 2 weeks the first wall was already constructed. The build was completed in February 2023 when a group of volunteers from the UK arrived to paint the new classroom both inside & out and to top it off decided to repaint the existing classrooms in the same block!
To finish the project we fitted solar panels to provide power to further benefit the teachers & pupils at the school.
